Registration Cancellation Policy

Should your circumstances change and you are unable to attend, please contact enquiries@aidr.org.au as soon as you can prior to the commencement of the Event. Should you cancel less than 14 days prior to the commencement of the Event, a replacement would be appreciated.


Entry to the Event

I give permission to the Australasian Fire and Emergency Service Authorities Council Ltd (AFAC) and one of its businesses the Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience (AIDR) a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty free, non-transferable licence to use, reproduce, adopt, distribute and communicate any image/video/audio taken of me (either in full or in part) for: AIDR publications, marketing and publicity materials, websites and social media platforms.

I understand that AFAC and AIDR will make every endeavour to ensure the reasonable use of the image/video/audio, and that the integrity of the image/video/audio will be maintained where reasonably possible.

I give permission for the collection and/or use of image/video/audio through third parties, such as joint venture partners, contractors, and other service providers engaged by AFAC and/or AIDR to deliver or provide goods and services or to otherwise act on behalf of AFAC and/or AIDR. I understand that AFAC and/or AIDR will make all reasonable efforts to advise me of third parties authorised to act on their behalf in this manner.

I understand and agree that if I wish to withdraw this licence at any time, I can do so by contacting AFAC and/or AIDR in writing.


Permission to use mobile text messaging (SMS)

By providing your mobile number during registration for the Event, you are permitting the Organiser to SMS your number for organizational activities regarding the event. Should you wish you unsubscribe, email with “remove SMS” in the header to enquiries@aidr.org.au.
