Minimum age
There is a non-negotiable minimum age limit of 18 years for attendees to the Tasmanian Whisky Academy's courses. By signing up to the course, you or your booking agent, agree to these terms and conditions.

Our education goal
Our goal is that all courses run according to schedule and as promised. However, in certain circumstances courses may need to be postponed, cancelled or combined. Details are as follows.

Cancellations by student
Any cancellations received fifteen (15) days or more before the course commencement date will not be subject to a cancellation fee. Cancellations must be communicated with the Tasmanian Whisky Academy via email or phone on +61 419 431 280. For cancellations received less than fifteen (15) days prior to the course commencement date - a non-refundable cancellation fee of 25% of the course fee will apply.

Minimum attendee numbers
Should attendee numbers for any particular course at the Tasmanian Whisky Academy not reach the required minimum capacity fifteen (15) days prior to the course commencement date, the Tasmanian Whisky Academy will issue a cancellation notice of the course to all participants via email or telephone. Any deposits or course fees received for said course will be 100% refunded.

Cancellation by force majeure
The Tasmanian Whisky Academy may exceptionally cancel a course in the case of force majeure or if our trainers are unable to attend the course.

If this occurs, the Tasmanian Whisky Academy will contact you immediately and postpone the course to a later date. If postponing is not possible, the Tasmanian Whisky Academy will reimburse all payments received from you not later than 14 days from the date on which cancellation notice was issued. However, no other form of compensation will be due by the Tasmanian Whisky Academy.
