Merging Data Collection Fields onto your Ticket
The default ticket captures the booking person's name and booking ID. You can adjust what is displayed on the ticket, adding on customised data fields. You find this useful for checking registrations for attendee name or when issuing merchandising options purchased.
Preparing your Data Fields
Select Manage Events, Data Collection and either once per booking or per attendee.
When you add a field or edit a field, "the Label" is what people see when booking, whereas the 'Field Name' is what you use on a custom ticket.
The 'Field Name' must be upper-case and must be only letters, number and/or underscores. If your field name is more than one word, please use an underscore between each word, e.g. FIRST_NAME. Only add field names to those fields you are going to pick up on your custom ticket.
Customising your Ticket
Select 'Ticket Styles' from 'Configuration'. Either add or edit a ticket style.
You will then be able to edit this ticket template so that it includes the 'Field Name' that you added in 'Data Collection'. This field must be entered exactly as it appears within 'Data Collection', in capitals and within square brackets eg. [FIRST_NAME]
You can add multiple field names as shown below.
Adding the custom ticket to your event
You now need to link this custom ticket style to your event, via 'Pricing Groups' under Manage Events.
