Our inaugural Ngāti Toa Kura Reo marks a proud milestone and a committed step toward our goal of rūmaki reo, where te reo Māori is the natural and primary language of our Ngāti Toa iwi.Kura Reo are immersive language wānanga, typically held over several days, where participants commit to speaking and living te reo Māori together. Through shared learning in the kura reo we strengthen our fluency, confidence, and collective identity building a thriving Ngāti Toa reo community grounded in our te reo Māori spirations.
