Chess Wizards (Years 3-6)
About
Master the game of chess with fun, interactive sessions for all skill levels!Students of all levels are welcome to learn and master chess. Sessions mix interactive learning and gameplay, following FIDE guidelines. The coach, a Certified FIDE Chess Instructor, ensures engaging sessions for everyone. Each student gets a ChessKid account to play with club mates or take on challenges. Students are encouraged to bring an A5 notebook to track and replay games at home, enhancing their skills further. Join to become a chess champion!

Note: Most Term 2 Cross Curricular Programme activities begin in Week 2. This course will begin in Week 3 on Monday 4 May. This is because the Monday in Week 2 (Monday 27 April) is ANZAC Day, a public holiday, and QMC will be closed.
Please note that once booked, refunds are not available for any Cross Curricular Activity. We encourage you to book cautiously. T&C are on the QMC website.
