The SNUG Committee and Chair John Kinghorn are pleased to announce ticketing is open for the annual SNUG 2026 Workshop in Wellington!
The SNUG Committee has elected to hold the event in Wellington, over two days on the 24th and 25th of September 2026. There will also be a free product exhibition starting in the afternoon of 23rd of September by our Gold and Silver Sponsors, and a few other select goods or service providers in the general roading space.

Tickets
Please take your time to select the ticket type that suits your requirements. You can also purchase multiple tickets in the same transaction.
Due to delays and costs involved in receiving payments from invoices, we are only accepting credit card payments this year. Please have your credit card ready when you make your booking.
Venue
This year's event will be held at the Harbourside Function Centre, Wellington.
Day-catering is provided for all workshop delegates. Admittance to the SNUG dinner which will be held on the night of the 24th September is included in the Full Delegate package. If you are a day delegate, and wish to attend the networking dinner, or if you wish to bring a 'plus-1' with you to the dinner, you can do this by purchasing the additional 'Networking Dinner Only' ticket, in addition to your workshop ticket. We have now also made it possible for you to purchase multiple tickets together, simplifying the booking and payment process.
Accommodation / Hotel Special Rates
There are so many choices for accommodation in Wellington to suit all budgets. As such, we have not arranged any accommodation specials with any providers.
Student Passes
We have some student passes available at a subsidised rate. To apply for a student rate email us a few details about the course you are on and why you feel you would benefit from attending - email Sean Lewis.

Wednesday 23rd September 12:00pm - 5:00pm - Exhibitions will be set up in the Harbourside Function Centre, please come along and chat with our exhibitors.
Wednesday 23rd September 1:30pm - 5:30pm - Tech Tour / Pre-function Networking Event - Meet at the Harbourside Function Centre.
Thursday 24th September 8.30am – 5.00pm: Workshop Day 1 (registrations from 8am)
Thursday 24th September 6.00pm – late: SNUG Drinks & Dinner [TBC] (included free in 'Full Delegate' Ticket, but must be purchased separately for day delegates or Plus-1's)
Friday 25th September 9.00am – 3.30pm: Workshop Day 2

About SNUG
SNUG is a subgroup of the Engineering NZ Transportation Group with the objective of bringing about the advancement of the fundamental knowledge of the art, science and practice of design, operation and maintenance of traffic signals. The field of Traffic Signals and Traffic System Control is moving forward rapidly and the SNUG Workshop is an opportunity for traffic signal engineers, local authorities, traffic systems specialists, contractors, consultants and other practitioners to discuss current developments in Traffic Signals and Traffic System Control.

Student Pass Conditons
We have 10-only student passes available. These will be allocated on merit, not merely first-in-first-served.
To qualify for the student pass you should ideally be a student studying a full time accredited course within NZ or undertaking post graduate studies potentially relevant to the traffic signals industry. The SNUG committee will review the student applications and reserve the right to request addition information to support the application or discard applications that they feel do not fit the criteria. If you wish to apply for a student pass, please email Sean Lewis.
We do not offer refunds, but can transfer the ticket to another delegate if required. Please contact us directly on the 'Contact Event Organiser' button above the map if you wish to transfer a ticket.
