Selwyn Fireworks Spooktacular 2026

Selwyn Fireworks Spooktacular 2026

More than just fireworks – it's an event built by the community, for the community.

The Selwyn Fireworks Spooktacular is proudly brought to you by the Selwyn Fireworks Charitable Trust – a passionate team of local volunteers dedicated to creating one of Selwyn's biggest family events.

When you buy a ticket, you're doing far more than securing your place at an incredible night of Halloween fun and spectacular fireworks. You're helping local community groups, schools, sports clubs and not-for-profit organisations raise valuable funds for the work they do throughout our district.

Every ticket sold helps keep this much-loved event alive. In fact, 75% of the event is funded through ticket sales, with additional support from Pub Charity (20%), Selwyn District Council (2%), and private partnerships (3%).

Your support means we can continue creating an unforgettable community celebration while giving local organisations the opportunity to fundraise and thrive for years to come.

Every ticket helps light up the sky—and strengthens our community.
