Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Kura Reo o Ngāti Kuia ka tū ki Whakatū Marae hei te Paraire 11 ki te Hanarei 13 o Hepetema 2026.

Open to all fluent speakers of te reo Māori aged 16+, Te Kura Reo o Ngāti Kuia 2026 is more than a language programme. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in te reo Māori, challenge yourself at an advanced level, and grow alongside other passionate speakers, whether or not you whakapapa to Ngāti Kuia.

If you're a confident conversationalist, a seasoned orator, or somewhere in between, this wānanga offers a rich environment to sharpen your reo, deepen your cultural knowledge, and connect with other reo Māori champions.

Wātaka: Day 1 will commence on Friday 11th September at 10am with a pōhiri and will finish on Day 3 Sunday after hākari (roughly 4pm). A detailed schedule will be sent out to registered participants in the coming weeks.
