Sarah Edwards is a British-born couture maker and founder of Frances George Atelier, creating beautifully crafted bespoke leather shoes and bags.
Her journey into the world of luxury craftsmanship has taken her from the BBC Natural History Unit to specialist training with master shoemakers and leather workers through the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST). Her experience at Jimmy Choo Couture, together with exhibitions of her work at His Majesty The King’s residence, Clarence House, has given her the privilege of creating bespoke pieces for royal and high-profile clients.
Sarah brings together a love of luxurious materials, meticulous craftsmanship and the magic of creating something entirely by hand. Her story is one of curiosity, creativity, unexpected adventures and the many possibilities that can unfold over a lifetime – with a belief that the most special pieces are those that bring joy, become part of our stories and gather beautiful memories along the way.
