Ready to add a little sass, sparkle, and shimmy to your life? Join Kiki Kisses, the Duchess of NZ Burlesque, for a fun, welcoming, and beginner-friendly 60-minute class at Dance Out Loud on Waiheke Island.
Whether you're brand new to dance, curious about burlesque, or simply looking for a playful way to connect with your body, this class is your invitation to explore movement, confidence, and self-expression in a supportive environment.
You'll learn the basic moves of burlesque, including classic hip movements, bumps, grinds, walks, and poses. Kiki will guide you through the foundations of burlesque, helping you discover how movement, musicality, and attitude come together to create captivating performance.
Put your new skills into practice with a short choreography set to a classic vintage bop. Expect fun, theatrical flair and plenty of opportunities to find your own unique style. No previous dance experience or perfect coordination required!
Throughout the class, you'll also explore sensuality and movement, learning how body language, intention, and confidence can transform even the simplest gesture. Discover how to move in a way that feels authentic, empowering, and comfortable for you.
