MEET THE PROFESSIONALS 2025
Meet the Professionals is an exciting information evening for students in Years 10–13 and their whānau, featuring a diverse lineup of speakers. Designed to inspire and inform, these speaker sessions offer insights into various career paths and first-hand stories from professionals who have navigated their journeys.
The opening session, Being Work Ready, is led by Gillian Peacock, People and Capability Manager at Queen Margaret College, who will share practical advice for students on career preparation, standing out as a candidate and becoming ‘work ready’ in any industry.

Choose one speaker per session and book your spot early—spaces are limited! See how to book below. This is a free event.
University representatives will be in the Library from 5pm to 8pm to talk about studying at university and answer your questions. Visit them before, during and after sessions, up until 8pm. Representatives will be present from:
- University of Auckland
- University of Waikato
- Victoria University of Wellington
- University of Canterbury
A light dinner will be available in the Library from 5pm-5.30pm for students and whānau attending both the Subject Selection Expo in the afternoon and Meet the Professionals.
How to Book Your Sessions:
- Check the Sessions Overviews & Speakers' Biographies to see who is speaking and where, and learn more about each speaker.
- Once you’ve made your choices, click Book Now.
- Enter the number of attendees and click Next.
- Select one speaker per session (or select ‘Not attending this session’).
- Add your contact details at Checkout and click Purchase to complete your booking.
