SCBWI NZ: Writing Fairy Tales for Today's Children

This workshop includes a talk about the history and psychology of fairy tales, a reading, and an exercise in developing a writing process for creating new, original fairy tales for today’s children. All writers are welcome as you can write stories for any age.
Sherryl Clark has more than 75 published children’s and YA books, including novels, chapter books, picture books and verse novels. She taught Myths and Symbols subjects as a creative writing teacher, and her PhD was on writing new, original fairy tales.
