Rest and Restore: A Somatic Workshop for Deep Replenishment

Take a pause. Come home to your body.Rest and Restore is a trauma-informed, inclusive workshop designed to support your nervous system through mindful movement, breathwork, and embodied self-compassion.
We’ll explore accessible somatic practices that tend to the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic layers of being. Through grounding techniques, gentle yoga, restorative poses, and calming breathwork, you’ll be guided into a space of softness, regulation, and rest.
No experience needed—all bodies are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat and blanket and/or cushion for comfort.

Amy Richards is a Pōneke-based yoga teacher with a Certificate in MindBody Therapy. Her trauma-informed approach explores how embodied awareness shapes experience and relationship. Her practice is influenced by Tantric Shaivism, Hakomi somatic psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, Contact Improvisation, Open Floor dance, Authentic Relating, and Nonviolent Communication.
