About our speakers
Claire Bradley
Claire Bradley is a professional genealogist based in Dublin, Ireland. She holds a Certificate in Family History from University College Dublin and an MA in the History of the Family from the University of Limerick. As well as taking on research for clients, Claire teaches a bi-annual adult education course in researching family history and regularly gives lectures to family and local history societies. She is a former chairperson of the Ireland Branch of the Irish Genealogical Research Society. She also helps run the popular Boards.ie genealogy forum. Her particular interests are genetic genealogy, Irish Quakers and Dublin records. Her website is www.cbgenealogy.ie.
Geraldene O'Reilly
Geraldene O'Reilly has a longstanding association with the New Zealand Society of Genealogists and holds the position as Convenor of the NZSG Irish Interest Group. Her articles on Researching Your Irish Ancestors have been published in The New Zealand Genealogist. A graduate of the University of Limerick with First Class Honours in History of Family and Genealogical Methods, in 2021 Geraldene was made a Fellow of the Cork Genealogical Society. She currently works in Auckland as an Independent Researcher.
