About

ALEXANDRA - Wed 2 September (for other tour dates/locations visit lizconwaymusic.co.nz/music)
Show 7:30 – 9:30 (Doors open at 7pm). $30 General Admission seating. Family Friendly.

There will be an intermission with food and non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase.

The show, filled with original songs and instrumental compositions, is hard to put in a box – it features everything from reflective piano/vocal and intimate guitar/vocal tracks to full band songs, a piano/flute duet, and even a piano solo performed to a film. There’s a little bit of something for everyone. Liz will be joined by Jono Conway, Paula Brown and Luke Hardinge.

Liz Conway’s new album "Perspectives" was written over the past 10 years and reflects different seasons of life. Her already released singles “Beyond the Moon” and “Unicorns” were written for her young children, and her other tracks will take you on a journey through the complexity and joy that different seasons of life bring.

The audience will also be treated to the stunning astrophotography film, “rangi takō | clear skies”, with Liz performing her live piano soundtrack. The short film (15min) showcases the beautiful southern night sky in time-lapse photography and was co-directed by Liz with Andy Davey from Winterstellar Charitable Trust.

“Perspectives” will be released on the 1st of September on Bandcamp.
