This is a special sneaky preview screening of 'Big Bowls'. It's a fundraiser screening to help finish post production on the film and get it into cinemas. 'Big Bowls' is an independent feature film made in Te Whanganui-A-Tara/Wellington. It's a mockumentary about a young lawn bowls team set in Wainuiomata.
‘Big Bowls’, a delinquent lawn bowls team in their early 20’s from the small town of Wainuiomata prepare for a regional tournament. But when Chadwick Bloomington Jr III, the gen z badboy of bowls in Aotearoa enters the tournament, he’ll put the boys' friendship to the test.
