Nelson Tasman Oktoberfest 2026

Join us for an evening of German food, Oompah music and plenty of Oktoberfest fun at Richmond Town Hall.

Enjoy a hearty German meal, live Oompah music and a DJ, licensed bar featuring German-style beer, games and entertainment throughout the evening. Expect long tables, steins, plenty of 'Ein Prosit' singing and a lively community atmosphere, celebrating the German heritage of our region.

Come dressed for the occasion for the Best Dressed competition. Lederhosen and dirndls are encouraged (but not compulsory)!

This is a not-for-profit event, run by volunteers from the Nelson Tasman German Club Incorporated. Any proceeds will be held by the club for future events.
