This Halloween, Dirtease South is getting a little darker.
Our award-winning feral variety cabaret is back at The Riff for Vol. 11, and this time we’re embracing everything weird, wicked and wonderfully unhinged.
And for Halloween, we’re bringing New Zealand’s #1 scare performance artist to Invercargill.
So when we say some of these acts will scare the shit out of you…
We mean it.
Expect burlesque, drag, circus, comedy, horror and a few surprises as our artists bring their own version of a Halloween nightmare to the stage.
Some will make you laugh.
Some will make you squirm.
Some will scare the shit out of you.
And some will probably have you wondering what the fuck you just watched.

This one isn’t for the easily offended.
There will be horror themes, adult content, dark humour, confronting moments and acts that are deliberately designed to make you a little uncomfortable.
We’re not going to tell you exactly what’s coming because that would ruin all the fun.
But we will tell you this:
We’re not watering it down.
We’re not asking permission.
And we’re definitely not apologising for it.
Dirtease has always been a place for artists to be unapologetically themselves, and Halloween gives us the perfect excuse to push that just a little further.
So dress up, bring your mates and come spend Halloween with some of Southland’s favourite bad influences.
