Give your favourite clothes a second life!
Join one of EIT's fashion lecturers and students for a hands-on sashiko workshop and discover this beautiful Japanese stitching technique used to repair and strengthen garments.
Bring along a piece of clothing that needs a little TLC and learn how to mend it with decorative stitching and fabric patches.
Beginner friendly, no sewing experience is needed.
When: Wednesday 7 October, 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Where: Eastern Institute of Technology (Room G170), 501 Gloucester Street, Taradale
Cost: FREE but registration required as spaces are limited.
What to bring: A textile item that requires repair, we'll provide everything else.
