Sonic Arts #1- MEZZANINE Listening Lounge

Come upstairs and settle in to some newly renovated perspectives on space and sound.

For one evening, the newly renovated Riley Centre mezzanine will transform into a listening lounge- a curated space dedicated to the first release of some WHS senior Sonic Artists EP's of original compositions.

Creative atmosphere, immersive sound, projections- a chance to experience fresh music and media wrapped up in exciting and complementary vibes.

Our Year 13 students will be curators of their digital textures and electronic experiments.

MEZZANINE invites you to slow down, pay attention all while appreciating something brave and new.

As the class of 2026 approaches the end of their time at Welly High, MEZZANINE offers a chance for friends, whānau and our wider school community to be welcomed up and into a revamped space to gather, listen and celebrate some gems of this years sonic mahi and creativity.

Limited tickets. A grand and intimate space. Original sounds. Come and listen to what they've made.
