RAYBONANZA celebrates comedian Raybon Kan's 30 years in stand-up.

The award-winning comic has taken an unlikely path, from lawyer to columnist, to meteoric seasons in the NZ Comedy Fest and memorable TV Galas.

Voted Best Comedian by Metro Magazine and North & South, he’s appeared at Melbourne, Edinburgh, and Just for Laughs in Montreal.

As a writer, his credits include the bestselling book An Asian at my Table, and the sitcom Wellington Paranormal. The NZ Comedy Guild twice awarded him Funniest Column.

RAYBONANZA showcases Raybon live in his stand-up element: a victory lap of belly-laughs -- from smart and provocative, to buoyant and breathtakingly silly.

Opening for Raybon will be Session's favourite Mon Shelford.

Mon is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and soulful storyteller based in Napier, Hawke's Bay. Known as a 'sorceress of sound and soul', her distinctively rich, powerful vocals span multiple genres, blending alternative soul, gospel roots, and acoustic artistry.

Originally trained in the classical and operatic styles from the age of seven, Shelford's musical path took a dramatic turn during her high school years at a Catholic girls' academy, where she discovered the raw power of gospel music. These early, contrasting influences forged her signature, deeply resonant vocal delivery.
