Supporting Ākonga in a Structured Literacy Classroom

These workshops will support TAs who are working in learning spaces with Structured Literacy in place. There are two different workshops: for Years 1-3, and Years 4-8. Course covers: ➤ Introduction to the foundations and principles of structured literacy. ➤ Practical strategies for supporting ākonga in small group literacy instruction, including: Phonemic awareness, decoding, letter formation, spelling, high frequency words, and book reading.
