    In this chemical sciences unit, students will explore reversible and irreversible changes through the context of cooking. There are a large a number of hands on investigations.     Students will learn what current, voltage and resistance are, followed by Ohm's law. It is at year 11 physics level. An on-loan equipment pack will be sent out for the practical component. Use your forensics skills and learn about more aspects of forensic science, such as DNA, blood, soil, footprints, forgery, bones, insects and hair.     This topical biology unit has a focus on the measles outbreak as well as Covid-19.   • Thursday 17 June 2021
    During this hands-on course students will learn how to build series and parallel circuits. The concepts of current and voltage are explained using the circuits they build. A kit with electricity components is included for students to keep and take home. It contains a battery pack, light bulbs, switches, buzzer, motor and wires. This course is suitable for ages 11+.
