  • Runs during term 3, 2022
    Students will learn what current, voltage and resistance are, followed by Ohm's law. It is at year 11 physics level. An on-loan equipment pack will be sent out for the practical component.     Students will be sent an equipment pack on loan to carry out experiments using a wind turbine. They will investigate three different variables with regards to the turbine blades. This is a great unit to prepare for year 11/12 scientific investigation assessments (NCEA/Cambridge). Students will learn about mixtures vs pure substances, suspensions and colloids, solutions and concentration and saturated and unsaturated solutions.
