Customers can request that TryBooking erases their personal data.
Once we have verified your request, we will obfuscate your data. In order to comply with credit card industry standards, we are required to retain your data for 12 months after your last financial transaction for fraud purposes. After this 12 month period has elapsed, we will erase your data.
Please note if you request erasure of your data before the event has taken place, we will not be able to reissue your tickets. Please note if you request to delete your data before an upcoming event, it may affect the ability of an event organiser to permit you entry to the event.
As a Customer, you understand that even if TryBooking deletes or obfuscates your personal data upon request (or pursuant to this policy), your personal data may still be available in the database of the Event Organiser if the Event Organiser exported your data from TryBooking prior to this action being taken. Pursuant to our Privacy Policy, Event Organisers are not bound to treat your information in accordance with TryBooking's policies. We advise Customers seek this clarification from the Event Organiser directly, and instruct them to remove the personal data from their database.This interaction is beyond the scope of TryBooking's legal obligations, and rests between the Customer and the Event Organiser.
To request erasure of your data, enter in the email address you use to make bookings, and we will email you a verification link. Once verified, we will obfuscate your data and schedule it for deletion.
Please note, Event Organisers can delete their data by closing their account on the Account dashboard. This page applies to Customers only.
