Enjoy 2.5 days trekking across incredible coastal landscapes and scenery on Taurapa Station,a sheep & cattle farm located on Hawke's Bay's scenic Ocean Beach coast, forming part of Cape Sanctuary, a privately owned conservation site for native trees & birds.Over 2.5 riding days, our trekking route will take place over 5000 acres, riding through open country and well-tracked farmland in Taurapa Station, crossing into Clifton Station & Cape Kidnappers where we will ride past the imposing predator-proof fence looking down on the luxury lodge and world-renowned golf course.
Other scenic spots include Flat Rock, famous diving spot, Rangaiika, a historical whaling location, Maraetotara River, Ocean and Waimarama beaches, and the Cape Sanctuary conservation site - home to Brown Kiwi and the extremely rare Petrel birds.
This will all be done on horseback in glorious Hawke's Bay sunshine.
Expect great food, fun, entertainment & HB Hunt hospitality. $365pp (Own horse reqd)
