Mary is delighted to be coming to the West Coast to shine a humorous lens on her life. She has always loved to entertain but it was only at the age of 74 that she stepped onto the comedy stage. She began her career as a storyteller and comedian at Backroom Comedy in the Liquid Bar in Nelson in 2019. Since then she has performed throughout Nelson and Golden Bay and took her show to Christchurch last year to the Little Andromeda. She was nominated for the Audience Award at the Nelson Fringe, 2022. From being on stage for seven minutes to performing a show with musical interludes, Mary has now developed this solo show.
