Introduction to Nuclear Science - South Auckland (CANCELLED)
A high interest workshop. Learn about radiation, radioactivity, radioisotopes and half-life. Included is a Geiger counter demonstration and students will carry out a couple of fun simulations to learn about radioactive decay and half-life. Note that this is all completely safe (no unauthorised nuclear reactions are involved)!
Suitable for ages 13+.
