Kinematics workshop - Dunedin
Kinematics is the study of movement. During this workshop students will carry out investigations relating to velocity and acceleration which includes using a ticker timer device.
Prior knowledge of the theory of kinematics is required. Students can either study the theory beforehand themselves (topics supplied) or they can opt in for an online component at an extra cost.
Suitable for ages 13+.
Fees: $30 per student for the workshop
Additional fee of $55 for the online course covering the required theory, roughly 15-20 hours of study (this is optional).
