What is Assessment for Learning and why is it important in a classroom? How can I support AfL?This workshop will explore some of the key elements of Assessment for Learning, e.g learning intentions, success criteria, feedback, and self/peer assessment. We will unpack practical AfL strategies for learning assistants and teacher aides to use when working with individual learners and small groups. If your school is an “Assessment for Learning School” then this workshop is essential to ensure all adults in your school are supporting learners to own and lead their own learning.
