In the Body is a new work being premiered by Redwood Reider (they/them) at this year's Top of the South Pride festival. This is a live poetry show threading together poems exploring queer love, ecosexuality, human rights and gender identity. The work charts the poet's intimate evolution as a human being, alongside the ongoing evolution of social understandings of gender and sexuality.Hosted by Nelson Pride Inc., this event is possible due to the generous support of Nelson City Council, Arts / Heritage Partnership Grant.
This is a free R18 event, and booking is essential as seating is limited.
