About
ASD Dads is committed to supporting Māori and Pasifika parents and families, particularly in low socio-economic areas, by providing advocacy and empowerment for children with autism. Led by Fathers with Autistic children, our initiatives focus on navigating support systems, fostering emotional well-being and creating free events for our Autistic community.We are fundraising for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder who cannot afford to pay for speech therapy lessons due to waiting times or lack of funding. We have found that within ASD Dads there are many kids who will miss the opportunity to get speech therapy and have found that the earlier we can get our kids into speech therapy the greater the impact will be.
All funds will go towards:
- Free speech therapy lessons
- Towards our free family events we hold for families with ASD
