This is the first NZ Spearfishing National Championships held on Stewart Island since 1992!

Please note: This competition although held in December 2024, will be the 2025 National Championships.

As Stewart Island is a remote island with limited accommodation, we ask anybody planning on attending to please book accommodation and ferries ASAP so you don't miss out.

The Open competition 7-8th of December will be capped at 25 Pairs, this is another reason to get in early

We do have limited accommodation sorted for Friday the 6th- Monday the 9th. Please email Dwane Herbert, dwaneherbert@yahoo.co.nz, or phone Annabelle Herbert, 02102275197, to book for those dates

All attendees MUST attend a safety briefing held the night before each competition.

Open safety briefing & AGM: 4pm @ .All divers in the open must attend the afternoon briefing. AGM follows the briefing.
