Civil Defence is a system that helps communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. In this fun and engaging introduction, students will gain strategies and tools to respond quickly and confidently to civil emergencies. Students will build confidence, hone organization and problem-solving skills, and foster leadership. They will learn to work as a team, improving communication and collaboration skills.
Queen's Guard will also instill a sense of civic responsibility and awareness about community resilience. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to handle emergencies, both in theory and practice, contributing to their personal development. Be the hero your community needs with the Queen's Guard!
WHEN: Thursday 3.45pm-4.45pm
DURATION: Week 2 to Week 8 (7 classes)
