Shrek the Musical is a stage adaptation of DreamWorks’ animated film Shrek (2001), based on the book by William Steig. With music by Jeanine Tesori and a book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire, the musical follows the journey of an unlikely hero, an outcast princess, and a band of fairy tale misfits in a heartwarming and humorous adventure.
