Swing your clubs for a good cause and enjoy a beautiful day out on the course. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, this event is perfect for all skill levels. Early Bird Ticket Prices apply to the end of August! Group Pricing will increase to $350 & Individual Pricing will increase to $120 after this date.

FAQS

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket includes green fees plus multiple food and drink stations on the course. We will also have other fundraising activities available on the day and will be running a raffle for all attendees.

What is the format of the event?

We will be playing a modified Scramble in three-person teams. We will also have divisions for those with and without official golf handicaps. You can enter the day as a team of three or as an individual, and we will put you into a team. More details about the day will be released closer to the event

Can I play in the event if I don't have an official Golf NZ Handicap?

Yes, absolutely. We will have a separate division for those without handicaps and experienced golfers will look after you on the day. Golfers with official handicaps are allowed to play in the non-handicap division if they are forming a team with others who don't have a handicap.

What time does the event start?

We are still working on final timings but we anticipate a shotgun start (everyone teeing off at the same time) between 10.30am and 11am. We are also in the process of organising activities for families and a dinner post the golf and prizegiving.

Can I enter as an individual?

You can buy a ticket as an individual and we will place you in a team of 3.

What can I win?

We are still sourcing prizes for the day but anticipate a prize table in the vicinity of $4-$5k

Are families invited?

We will have some games and activities for kids later in the day and plan to run a dinner after the event. More details will follow on this soon.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we will offer refunds up to 30 days from the start of the event.

Can I sponsor the day?

We are looking for 18-hole sponsors and an overall naming rights sponsor. Sponsorship can be in the form of donated prizes. Please get in touch if you can help - matakanagolfday@gmail.com

When will I find out more about the event?

Closer to the event, we will email all attendees with the final details, including golfer check-in information.
