This Queer History Month, Wellington Pride Festival presents Cabaret (1972), starring Liza, Michael Yorke and Joel Grey.
There’s nothing more topical than the themes of this movie: Alienation! Sexual freedom! The tension between enjoying the moment while facing the jackboot! It’s camp, it’s musical, and it’s Liza absolutely cooking!
Choose a VIP cabaret table seat (each table seats up to 3) or a buy a stool near the bar. Ivy Bar will be open, so purchase a decadent prosecco or a stein of bier. We will be passing around the pretzels! We'll have captions on for our neurodivergent and deaf/hard of hearing friends. There will be an intermission. Special guests to be announced!
