WAY OFF BROADWAY

The show is a selection of much-loved songs from musicals.  To keep within the terms of our APRA performance license, costuming and acting/choreo will be limited.

Whilst the final song list is still being approved by APRA, it is likely to include songs from:

• The Greatest Showman
• Les Miserables
• Matilda
• Oliver
• Hairspray
• Cabaret
• Chess
• and more!

Performers from 11yo up are welcome to audition.  There will be a balance of solo/duet and large ensemble numbers – the musical directors will attempt to accommodate the preferences of all performers.  Sololists will also be expected to participate in some ensemble numbers.

Rehearsals will begin in October (although performers not involved with Calendar Girls may begin a little earlier) and are not expected to be more than twice a week until show week (which will be more intensive).

As this is a music concert, we need to hear you sing!  Dialogue lines, acting and dance moves are not required for the audition.
