On-Orchard Workshop & Industry Awards Dinner

The Citrus NZ AGM will begin at 8:30am.
At 9:30am, we’ll welcome guest speaker David Manktelow, who will share insights on emerging trends and opportunities for improving tree crop spray application practices and outcomes.
Following the presentation, attendees will meet downstairs at Midway Surf Club to board buses for Waikurawai Orchard, where the first workshop session of the day will begin at 10:45am. Lunch will be provided.
In the afternoon, buses will take attendees to Mangapoike Orchard for a visit to the 2D block and a grower discussion. The day’s orchard sessions will wrap up back at Midway Surf Club, where Tahu Restaurant will be open for refreshments on return.
In the evening, guests are asked to make their own way to Bushmere Arms, arriving at 5:30pm, for the Citrus NZ Industry Awards Evening — a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy great entertainment by Te Radar.
