Whether you are thinking about publishing your own books or have already self-published, our Indie Publishing day will provide you with a wealth of skills and knowledge about what to expect – right now.Formats, design, covers and marketing are changing all the time, and technology is, too. Staying up to date is a challenge you can meet with the right know-how and where to find it.
Come along and hear from a range of experts, including USA Today best-selling authors Wendy Vella and Cheryl Phipps, as well as children’s publisher and illustrator Deborah Hinde. Experienced local authors will also share their publishing and marketing knowledge.
Thanks to our CCS grant, the fee for the day will be $60.00 with lunch included! Venue: The Apprentice Cafe, NorthTec campus in Whangārei.
Preferential entry will be given first to Northland writers and then to the wider writing community.
