Ars Nova Choir presents, along with their very own soloists Fiona McCabe and Anthony Joines, "The Star of Bethlehem" by Josef Rheinberger. This is a lyrical work full of majesty, passion and drama, guaranteed to gently ease you into the Christmas season. They are accompanied by Ars Antiqua Chamber Orchestra, with Rosa Scaffidi at the piano, along with Rosene Spence on flute, Jo Henderson on oboe and Suzanne Scott on clarinet.Entry for school students is free! Doors open from 2.30pm.
A festive raffle will be drawn at the close of the concert - 1 ticket for $2 or 3 for $5 - with proceeds going to Ars Nova Choir to support their continuing choral engagement in the community.
