Come join us for an afternoon of saunas with the Sauna Project Napier and help us get Jake to America for basketball.Jake has been selected to be part of a team with Strive Basketball Australia that will travel to America next year and participate in a few tournaments. This has been Jake’s dream for as long as he has played basketball and he has worked hard to make this happen.
How it works:
The sauna is heated to approximately 90 degrees. After about 15 minutes in the sauna, jump into the river to cool off. Repeat this process 3 times over 1 hour.
Sauna sessions are facilitated by the Sauna Project Team where we come in the sauna throughout the session to stoke the fire and perform an 'Aufguss' process whereby water and oil are poured on to the rocks to intensify the heat for a short moment. This process will be explained to you in the sauna.
