Year 11 (IGCSE) physics - weekly Zoom class - unit 1
Open for expressions of interest - no payment required - please book in so I can gauge if there is enough interest for this proposed class to go ahead.
This tutoring class is aimed at students who intend to take the extended chemistry exam at the end of 2027.
Students will need to do their own self-study supported by the weekly Zoom sessions. They will need to buy a text book.
In total there will be 6 units to cover the full IGCSE syllabus.
Unit 1: Measurement and units, Forces and motion (term 1, 2026)
Unit 2: Forces and pressure, Forces and energy (term 2, 2026)
Unit 3: Thermal effects, Atoms and radioactivity (term 3, 2026)
Unit 4: Waves and sounds, rays and waves (term 4, 2026)
Unit 5: The Earth in space, Electricity(term 1, 2027)
Unit 6: Magnets and currents, practical physics (term 2, 2027)
Wednesdays, 11am to 12noon
10 sessions: 28 January to 1 April 2026
Course fee depends on the number of students in the class.
Term fee:
$200 (for 4 or more students)
$250 (for a group of 3 students)
$350 (for a group of 2 students)
