Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon of music, harmony, and heart as Ombré presents its annual showcase concert, CHARISMA!This year, we’re thrilled to welcome our special guest artist Kawiti Waetford — the extraordinary baritone from Northland, trained both nationally and internationally, and a proud protégé of Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. A passionate advocate for Māori culture, Kawiti brings depth, beauty, and mana to every performance. He’ll be performing stunning solo works as well as joining forces with Ombré in powerful collaborations.
The concert also features much-loved local soloist Jonathan Herd and other talented members of Ombré. Expect a vibrant mix of music — from soulful ballads to fun, uplifting numbers — plus a special piece inviting past members of Ombré to return and sing alongside us.
With beautiful singing, a touch of humour, costume flair, and a good old-fashioned cup of tea break, CHARISMA promises to be a joyful celebration of connection, community, and song.
