We’d love to welcome the wāhine of Whangārei to a relaxed morning tea gathering with authors Lucia Kotzé and Lily White.Lucia will share from her book, Bake the Life You Crave, which uses the idea of baking as a way to understand how we shape and grow into the life we want to live. Lily will speak about her book, The Weight of Light, a personal story about walking through grief and finding her way back to hope and strength.
Both will speak for around half an hour each, talking about the journeys behind their writing. The atmosphere will be calm, open, and conversation-focused rather than formal or structured.
Your ticket includes a large slice of tiramisu and a cup of coffee or tea. There will also be a small selection of cakes to sample so you can get a feel for the Lutzi Kutzi baking box flavours.
All books will be available to look through on the day if you’d like, but there will be no expectation to purchase. The aim is simply to share time together, listen, and connect.
