About
Inspired by a Japanese legend that says folding 1000 paper cranes will grant a wish, Sadako Sasaki, a young girl who, after being diagnosed with leukemia from the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, attempts to fold 1000 paper cranes in the hope of being granted a wish to recover. While she manages to fold 644 before her death, her classmates complete the task, and the cranes become a symbol of peace and hope.Features our Intermediate Rising Stars Performers
