About

"The Velveteen Rabbit" tells the story of a toy rabbit who longs to become "real" through the love of a young boy. Initially snubbed by other toys for being a simple velveteen rabbit, he learns from the wise Skin Horse that true "realness" comes from being loved and worn out. When the boy gets sick, the rabbit, despite being slated for destruction, experiences profound love and becomes "real" through the boy's affection. The story explores themes of love, loss, and the transformative power of imagination.
