Holiday Coding Club
About
Looking for something fun and meaningful during the holidays? The Holiday Coding Club is a half-day hands-on experience designed for children in Year 3–6 (ages 7–11) who enjoy building, experimenting, and creating with technology.Across the morning, students will explore coding and robotics through guided challenges designed to build creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Using iPads, Scratch coding, Spike LEGO robotics, and Sphero, students will design solutions, test ideas, and bring their creations to life — discovering that technology is not just something to watch, but something to create with.

About Me
I’m Trudi, a New Zealand primary teacher with over 20 years of classroom experience. I specialise in the creative use of Apple technology and love empowering children to use devices to design, think, make, and express their understanding. I’m passionate about students being creators rather than consumers, and I believe digital tools are a powerful way to build confidence, critical thinking and collaboration.
I can’t wait to welcome your child to a morning of fun, discovery and creativity!
