Footprints in the Sand Fun Run
About
Join us for our annual Fun Run where we raise funds for local charities. From 5km to a half marathon walk or run, your entry fee will be donated to help local organisations help locals. This years charities include Foxton Beach Volunteer Fire Brigade, Surf Life Saving Foxton Beach and Foxton Beach Community Centre and Health Shuttle.- Staggered start times from 7am to 9:00am
- Start and finish line is on the beach in front of Foxton Beach Surf Club
- Run or Walk north on the hard packed sand to your turn-around marker and refreshment station
- Prize giving of spot prizes at 11am or when the last entrant finishes. Spot prizes are drawn by a random number generator.
- Due to restrictions of the tide, all participants are recommended to be back by 11am.
- All finishers receive a medal
Registration opens from 6.30am. All participants must register on the day to receive their wristband and be entered into the spot prize draw.
Entries also accepted on the day, but save time on race day morning and enter now!
There is a Primary School Team Challenge - First three back from each school are counted. Please contact your school to enter a team.
