2026 Term 1 Master's Class (SOLD OUT)
About
This is a repeat of our recently introduced Treibball ClassJoin fellow Master Class members on Wednesday nights to learn Treibball (pronounced “try-ball,” German for “push ball”) - a fun, low-impact sport where dogs push large inflatable balls into a goal under their handler’s direction.
Though the concept is simple, advanced Treibball involves complex skills like directing multiple balls through obstacles. It’s mentally stimulating, gentle on joints, and ideal for dogs of all breeds and ages - especially herding types like Border Collies and Kelpies.
Introduced to NZ in 2020, Treibball originated in the Czech Republic in the early 2000's.
If you're a newcomer to this class, you’ll need to purchase equipment (list sent after enrolment) and commit to weekly practice.
We look forward to continuing this new and exciting dog sport at Hamilton Dog Obedience Club and hope you find learning it as fun as we do!
