For $90 per person Subscribers will receive ONE Flexiticket, which can be used for THREE admissions to
ANY Music Whakatane concert during the 2026 Season.
They are TRANSFERABLE to non-Subscribers. The public booked ticket price for concerts by visiting musicians will be at least $35
each, and more at the door.
IMPORTANT:
1) Flexitickets do not guarantee admission. Use them to acquire admission tickets at the booking agent or the door.
2) Flexitickets expire on 31 December each year.

Exchange a printed copy of your Trybooking ticket/receipt for a Flexiticket at 'The Good Life' 160 The Strand, Whakatane, during shop hours, or at the door before Music Whakatane concerts.

Subscribers will receive information about Music Whakatane events, either by email (preferred) or post.

Tuesday 5 May, 7.30pm

Andrew Beer (violin), Lorelle McNaughton (piano), Gordon Hill (double bass), Sam Swindells (guitar) & Grayson Masefield (accordion) present ‘A Century of Tango’ traversing the evolution of tango from the classics of Ángel Villoldo & Carlos Gardel to the nuevo tango of Ástor Piazzolla.

Reuben Derrick (clarinet/saxophone), Keith Petch (manouche jazz guitar), Michael Kime (double bass), Doug Brush (percussion) perform gypsy swing (aka jazz manouche), made famous by Jean “Django” Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.
